National Association of Farm Broadcasting 2011

At the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention Nov. 7 to 9, 2011, in Kansas City, Mo., representatives of the dairy checkoff spoke to many broadcasters about efforts to boost dairy sales.

New York dairy producer and National Dairy Board member Audrey Donahoe shared her passion for the dairy industry and talked about the dairy checkoff’s demand-driving partnerships and programs with Tom Cassidy of Ag Radio Network in New York.

Bridget Sheehan, a registered dietician with the Midwest Dairy Association, talked with Liz Brown of KOEL Radio in Oelwein, Iowa, about Fuel Up to Play 60, the in-school nutrition and fitness program made possible by a partnership between the NFL^® and the National Dairy Council^®.

Former NFL wide receiver Eddie Kennison spoke with Chuck Zimmerman of ZimmComm about his admiration for dairy producers and his long-standing commitment to the Fuel Up to Play 60 program and the value it brings to more than 70,000 schools today.
