Dairy Management Inc.™(DMI), which manages the national dairy checkoff program, and the National Dairy Shrine partner each year to award scholarships to encourage college students to pursue careers in dairy product marketing. Londa Johnson of LaCrescent, Minn., received $1,500 as the recipient of the 2009 National Dairy Shrine/DMI Milk Marketing Scholarship. Domino’s Launches Second Phase of American Legends™ Campaign
To help revitalize the pizza category and build cheese sales, dairy producers and Domino’s Pizza® launched the second phase of the American Legends™ specialty pizzas in June 2009. This is part of a multiyear partnership between dairy producers, through their checkoff investment, and Domino’s Pizza.
